Ravanelli not been paid for three months
Fabrizio Ravanelli will make a statement later today or tomorrow concerning his position at Derby County.

Rumours are around that the Italian Striker has not been paid his £40,000 tax-free wage demands for the previous three months. Ravanelli is also said to be very upset with accusations from Rams boss John Gregory that the Achilles tendon injury he is said to be suffering was not as bad as he was making out. Fellow Rams player Craig Burley, who has been out for nearly a year with the same sort of injury is also said to be unhappy with remarks made by Gregory.

Gianni Paladini, Ravanelli’s agent and his solicitor were yesterday in discussion over the situation and it is not clear if Ravanelli wants to take legal action against Gregory or the club.

We watch and wait for the next exciting episode of financial roller coaster that is now Derby County FC.
