Rams may have interest in Italian Midfielder

Several rumours of a move by Derby County for ex Fiorentina midfielder Fabio Rossitto keep coming to the attention of Derby County Mad.

It is well documented that the Rams have been interested in the 31 year old. First rumours of interest in the player came around January of 2002.

Giovanni Paladini, Rossitto’s agent has confirmed that Derby County are interested in him but the Rams would have to sort out their current financial difficulties if a move was to be made for Fabio.

The player himself has stated that he would love to come to England. Other interested parties include Portsmouth and West Ham.

Como, a team recently promoted to Seria A in the Italian league are also said to be very interested in Rositto to strengthen their challenge to stay in the elite Italian league.

Although it may be nice for Rams fans to speculate on new faces around Pride Park. It is hard to see how they can persue anyone in their current financial position.
