Derby County started their West Country tour this evening with a 0-2 win. The rams left it late into the game and had substitute Stephen Davies to thank after coming off the bench for his second game in 24 hours.
The Rams were gifted the lead after the ball was handled in the area by Yeovil. Davies stepped up to stroke the ball home and give the Rams the lead in the 73rd minute.
Davies was again the scorer with a well flighted crossed by Ben Pringle, who again was playing his second game in 24 hours, Davies heading it home in the 79th minute to give the Rams their 2-0 win.
