Josh Wolff
US International Josh Wolff will now not be coming to Derby
Derby County have failed in a bid to bring 29 year-old American International forward Josh Wolff to Pride Park.

A fee of £340,000 was to be paid to Kansas City Wizards and Wolff was happy to sign for the Rams having agreed personal terms. However to obtain a work permit players have to have competed in 75% of their nations competitive matches which Wolff has not attained. With the transfer deadline just 24 hours away it was too late to appeal to the Department of Trade and industry for a permit to be granted.

The Rams need to strengthen their squad and start to put together results if they are looking for midtable safety, left alone challenging for a play-off place in May.

Inigo Idiakez
Will Idiakez be on his way out of the club tomorrow?
Rumours are still circulating that former Rams boss George Burley may be about to make a last minute bid to take Ingo Idiakez and Tommy Smith to St Mary's. The Southampton boss has long been an admirer of the Spaniard and the energetic midfield/striker.
