Despite scoring five goals in six appearances for the Rams, Jamie Ward could not pull off the Championship player of the month award for February.
Ward faced stiff opposition from Cardiff striker Frazier Campbell and Brighton and Hove goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak, and it was the Cardiff man who took the award.
