Derby County have admitted that they are in talks with Robbie Savage but the talks seem to be faultering on wage demands by the ex-Welsh midfielder.

Paul Jewell is keen to bring the Blackburn Rovers player to Pride Park and admires his leadership and midfield skills.

Fans are divided as to whether Savage would be good for Derby County. He had undoubted talent but at 33 years of age maybe his best days are behind him.
