Kamahl Whight up for transfer
Derby County Mad understand that one of Derby County 's Academy youngsters has been placed on the football league list of players looking for a new club. 17-year old forward Kamahl Whight is a 2nd year scholar but does not appear to have a future with the Rams. He has effectively been transfer listed.

This doesn't come as a total surprise because Whight, nicknamed Kam or Beast, has failed to make much of an impression for Derby County reserves, whilst fellow 2nd year scholar Aaron Dillon has already featured in the totesport.com League Central Division . And with 1st year scholar Callum Ball regularly filling the forward spot on the substitutes bench, it looks like Whight has fallen down the pecking order of strikers at the Academy.

On the official Derby County website, Manchester born Whight says that he wants to be a professional footballer in five years time. Derby County Mad wish the youngster all the best, although it now looks like he will have to move away from Pride Park and Moor Farm in his attempt to fulfil his football ambitions.

Prijovic

This news comes barely a week after it was reported in some media sources that another young Derby County striker looks set to leave Derby County in the January transfer window. 19-year old Aleksandar Prijovic has recently been on trial with Danish Premier Division club Odense OB where he played in a friendly game.

Prijovic was signed by former Derby County manager Paul Jewell amid glowing reports but, once he arrived at Pride Park , the young Serbian striker was never registered or given a squad number and played his football with the under-18s.

This season, under Nigel Clough, Prijovic has played in five out of six reserve league games this season, scoring four goals. Despite this impressive strike rate for the second string, Prijovic hasn't been registered for the senior team this season either, not even ahead of the Ipswich Town game when Paul Dickov was the only registered striker fit enough to play for Derby County.

It looks like Nigel Clough doesn't rate Prijovic at all and a move away from Pride Park in January, with Odense OB the probable destination, looks very likely...
