Those poor Derby fans

Sad day at the JJB
Well everyone now knows that Derby are the worst team ever to grace the Premiership but why do the players have to underline it week in week out?

Saturday's attendance, I will not write performance because there just wasn't one, was one of the games most Rams fans thought we stood a chance of winning. With games running out to avoid the dreaded 15 points there just seemed to be a lack of passion and belief.

Players brought in to show leadership are sadly lacking in that department and an all round lack lustre attendance at the game was shared by all.

Rams fans have suffered more than supporters in the country this season and new managers and players seem to have made little difference to the side.

Maybe everyone is preparing for next season and the push for promotion to the Premiership again! I can't see it. To be in with a shout of getting into the top two in the Championship you need a side that is playing together and working for each other, I simply don't see that with Derby County at present.

Gary Lineker even feels sorry for Rams fans
Even the pundits are now feeling sorry for the Derby County supporter. Gary Lineker on Match of the Day remarked on the "poor Derby fans". How does a club that has players just going through the motions manage to fill the stadium at Pride Park every home game? Why do they come, because they care passionately about the club, something the players should take on board and try to emulate.

"Steve Bloomers watching", is the fans song at Pride Park, he must be turning in his grave after viewing the latest attempt at something resembling football at the JJB Stadium...
