The Son of Todd arrives at Derby

Andy Todd, son of former Rams player and manager, Colin Todd has joined the Rams on a two year deal from Blackburn Rovers

Andy Todd arrives on a 2 year deal and is delighted to be a Ram
Derby County have completed the signing of 32 year-old central defender Andrew Todd from Blackburn Rovers.

Todd is the son of former Rams legend , Player and manager Colin Todd and was born in Derby. He is said to be delighted to have signed for Derby.

The versatile player can play at Centre back or move up to midfield if necessary and was wanted by Rams Premiership rivals Birmingham City and Sunderland as well as Championship side West Bromwich Albion.

The fee involved is unclear at this moment in time but Todd has been given a two year deal with Derby taking him up to the 2009 season.
