Kris Commons a key man for Derby
The Rams are feeling the pace of the season and are now struggling with injuries at a crucial time of the season.

Nigel Clough and all Rams fans will be hoping and praying that the calf problem suffered by Kris Commons will clear up and enable him to resume his partnership with striker Rob Hulse.

Meanwhile the Rams await news on injuries to Miles Addison. The Injury to his foot, whilst playing against Blackpool may need an operation and could rule him out for the rest of the season.

Nacer Barazite, who suffered a shoulder dislocation against Nottingham Forest may be in contention for a return to the squad and could take over the midfield role Commons if he should be missing for the game against Swansea. Another player who has dislocated his shoulder in recent weeks, Jay McEveley came through Friday's game against Doncaster with mild soreness to the shoulder, which has popped out on three occasions this season.

Derby may try the new strike partnership of Hulse and Porter. Porter, the first signing of Nigel Clough for the Rams is keen to get off the mark and settle into a routine which will hopefully net the pairing the goals the Rams are seeking...
