Police are trying to stamp out the teenage hooligans at Derby County games
A small band of trouble makers has attached itself to Derby County Football Club and are becoming a pain in the side of the Derbyshire Police and other law abiding football supporters who attend matches involving Derby County.

The gang calling themselves the Derby Youth Connection, are a bunch of teenagers aged between 15 and 17 years of age. They have been involved in several incidents at games involving the Rams including the matches against Blackpool at home and Liverpool away.

The hooligans again tried to provoke trouble during last nights game with Newcastle united. Around 30 members of the gang were prevented from causing trouble, however a number of arrests were made, all Newcastle fans.

The youths were warned that any further trouble could result in Asbo's being handed out, or even banning orders from attending Derby County Matches.
