Ryan Shotton is due to complete his awaited permanent move to Championship rivals Birmingham City later today.
The 27 year-old defender had spent a short loan spell with the blues last season, making nine appearances for Birmingham.
Shotton has been actively seeking to leave the Rams after it was clear he wouldn't be a regular in the Derby County first team. Signing from Stoke City on loan to the Rams, Shotton made his move to the Rams permanent in January 2015.
A fee has been agreed between the two clubs but not made public
