But midfielders Stephen Pearson (shin) and James Bailey (groin) look likely to miss the game.

MATCH PREVIEW

Fresh from a shock win against promotion-chasing Nottingham Forest in midweek, next-to-bottom Scunthorpe will be looking to take another East Midlands scalp and pick up another potentially crucial three points.

Wednesday's triumph was their first win in nine matches and only their second in 14 league games. It was also only their second win of the season at Glanford Park - The Iron still have the worst home record in the division.

Even so, they have every reason to be upbeat, while struggling Derby have won only one of their last 12 games - a run that has seen the Rams nosedive from fourth in the table to five places outside the relegation zone.

They would be even closer to danger but for their knack of beating struggling teams, which bodes well for them ahead of this game. A win for County on Saturday would be their seventh victory in 10 matches against sides in the bottom seven. It would also be their first win at Scunthorpe since January 1961.
