Saul Deeney, still on compassionate leave
Derby goalkeeper Saul Deeney could return from compassionate leave this week.

Deeney is in Northern Ireland visiting his father, who is seriously ill in hospital."It is very difficult to rush these things given the situation with his dad," said manager Nigel Clough. "It is up to Saul as to when he feels he can come back.

He could be back by the middle of this week."Deeney has been unavailable at a time when number one keeper Stephen Bywater is sidelined with a fractured wrist.

Frank Fielding is on a month's loan from Blackburn and the England Under-21 international has helped Derby collect six points in the three matches he has started.Ross Atkins has been recalled from his loan spell at Tamworth to provide back-up for Fielding on the bench but the 20-year-old has yet to make a senior appearance for the Rams...
