Burton v Derby
Giorgios Theodoridis scores for the Rams
The Rams redressed the balance for the Rams loss to Macclesfield, with a comfortable win against Burton Albion. Derby won the game 3-0 with record signing Robert Earnshaw scoring the first goal of hopefully many in the Rams shirt.

The scoring was started by trialist Giorgios Theodoridis. He forced in a rebound from a powerful Steve Howard header that hit the bar. Rob Earnshaw was next to score just eight minutes later.

The game was effectively over at half time with the Rams leading 2-0 but Steve Howard popped up just after the re-start to make it 3-0 to Derby.

Lee Camp was making himself noticed to the Rams management with a couple of top class saves . Former Rams keeper Martin Taylor was among the Burton Albion squad.

A crowd of 2594 enjoyed the evenings entertainment, as both sides look forward to starting their respective league games in the near future.
