Vyacheslav Hleb may be about to join his brother in England
Rumours are around that Paul Jewell has already signed his first player for next season. Many think it may well be Hossam Ghaly, presently on loan with the Rams from Tottenham Hotspur. However we have had an tip off that the Rams may well have a partner for Tito Villa in the form of a 25 year old Belarusian International striker.

The man in question is Vyacheslav Hleb, heard the name before? We you may have seen his brother, Aliaksandr, the Arsenal midfielder.

The brothers from Minsk in the former Soviet Union are both highly rated players. Vyacheslav was reported to be heading for Scotland last season but problems with his work permit stopped the deal going through, he has since played the required 75% of Belarus' International games and should qualify if he has indeed been bought by Derby County.

Vyacheslav is currently playing with FC MTZ-RIPO MINSK in the Belarusian Premier League and has scored 17 goals from 33 appearances this season.

His International record is impressive as well, scoring five times in fourteen appearances for his country.

Our sources say that Hleb will be brought over to England during May where he will be given a three week trial. A fee of £500,000 was offered by a German side last season but again this deal fell through because of work permits.

Vyacheslav has certainly some talent and if is as good or better than his brother then Derby County may well be getting themselves a bargain, that is assuming all rumours are from a good source. We will just have to wait and see if the rumour mill is correct...
