Rams to add Burton Keeper next week

Paul Paschiosolido has accepted that he will most likely loose his player of the year early next week, as Derby County continue to add to their squad for the 2011-2012 season.

Adam-LegzdinsAdam Legzdins is highly prized by Peschisolido and the Burton management team but hope to break their sales record by allowing the 24 year-old keeper to move to Pride Park for an estimated £200,000.

Burton had offered Legzdins an improved offer on his contract, that has a year to run, but the lure of championship football, or at least being in the line-up on match-days will see him move over to Derby County.

Legzdin had an incredible run with Burton last season playing 51 competetive games for the Brewers and has impressed other Championship clubs as well as the Rams.

It is thought that Nigel lough will begin to reduce his growing number of goalkeeping options by offering  Ross Atkin on a season long loan to the Brewers. It is not known what the situation is at present with the Rams other keepers, although there has been interest in former number one, Stephen Bywater from Championship clubs. Saul Deaney, another former Burton Albion keepers future at Pride Park is also not clear at present...
