Derby County marched on in some style last night in the Capital One Cup. Their five nil thrashing of league one side Brentford showing the Rams are showing definate signs of improvement from last term.
Now the Rams must wait until this evening (Wed 28th Aug) to know who they will face in the next round
Derby Scorers were: Chris Martin (2), Conor Sammon (2) and Will Hughes.
It has to be said however before people start acclaiming this victory as a prelude to promotion, that Brentford did field a weak team last night because of injury etc but never the less it was good to see two strikers getting a brace a piece and young Will Hughes weighing in with a goal from midfield...
