Jake Livermore signs on loan but will not play until August 22nd after three match ban
Derby County have secured the services of 19 year-old midfielder, Jake Livermore. The deal is an initial one month loan but with Livermore serving a three match ban for an incident with Spurs last season, he will not play for Derby until August 22nd.

Nigel Clough is hoping the talented midfield player will stiffen up an area which Derby are short on quality. Livermore is described as being big, powerful and energetic by Rams boss Clough and he would like to extend the loan until Christmas to give Derby and Livermore a chance to get to know each other.

The loan of Livermore is not thought to be anything more than a loan. He has signed a contract with Tottenham that will keep him with the club until 2011.

Another Rams favourite has just committed himself to another contract, Robbie Savage signed a deal which will keep him at Pride Park until 2011, which is a one year extension to his original contract...
