A brand new Trophy will be won by the Rams at the end of July. This is the date chosen to hold the very first Brian Clough Trophy game.

On Tuesday 31st July a Derby County side will entertain Notts Forest, the winner to be presented with the Brian Clough Trophy by Barbara Clough, widow of Brian.

The winners of the game will keep the trophy until the two sides meet again in Cup matches. Obviously a league meeting between the two sides will not be possible at this time, with the Rams in the Premiership and Forest in Division 1. So any game will automatically be deamed a Brian Clough Trophy game and the winner keeps the Trophy until the sides meet again.

The game will help local charities with monies raised, something very close to Brian Clough's heart.

Tickets for Rams season ticket holders go on sale this Friday 6th July and then Derby County supporters with a customer number will be able to purchase their ticket from Friday 13th. Tickets will be priced at £10 per adult, no news on any consession prices have been released at this time.
