Rams sign off with another dismal performance

Rams V Reading
"Some people are on the pitch, they think it's all over, it is now!" A thank goodness for that
Well how was it for you people yesterday, the final day of the Rams Season Horribilis?

Yes the game was a sad reflection on the season and a team devoid of effort, skill, know how or a combination of all three.

What was very scary to think about was the fact that Reading are a team who couldn't score for love nor money over their last half dozen games or so but came to Derby County and drilled four goals past a bemused Rams defence.

Next season Reading will be a force that will challenge for promotion, if the side is kept together but the Rams need players, players with heart and stomach for a fight.

Yesterday's performance was nothing short of scandalous but yet apt for a season of utter disappointment for Rams fans and yet again the players didn't want to perform, not even for the fans and their last game in the Premier League.

We the fans were awarded the Jackie Stamps Player of the year award yesterday, and it was thoroughly deserved. To save the players yet more embarrassment the fans even invaded the pitch at the end of the game, leaving the club little option but to keep the players in the dressing room, out of sight and hopefully soon a distant memory.
