Speculation that Derby County could be about to sell attacking player Johnny Russell to Cardiff City have been quashed by Rams Head coach Paul Clement.
Having had time to evaluate players in the last few weeks, Clement has said Russell is going nowhere.
Russell now 25 was a tirless worker for the Rams last season and a good player to have in the squad. Competition for places will be fierce this season but that can only be a good thing.
