Rams re-write the record book

Pride Park
All the pride gone from Pride Park
Rams claim a new record, unfortunately it is an unwanted one of failing to win in 21 consecutive matches. The 17th September was the last game Derby County won, that being against Newcastle United at Pride Park.

That game was watched by the now new owners Andrew Appleby and Tom Glick and they must have thought that Derby County were worth investing in but since then the club has lost 16 of the last 21 games, only managing to draw on five occasions. Add to this a 1-4 humiliating defeat in the FA Cup by Preston and the Rams have an all time record for consecutively not winning a game.

Pride Park
When will Pride Park or the Rams next see a win?
The one ray of light came when Derby did actually win an FA Cup tie but had to have a penalty shoot out to win that game.

With games coming up against Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal, it does make you wonder if this particular run will not end until relegation, although with a 1-4 drubbing by Preston of the Championship, there may be no end in sight if things don't improve rapidly...
