The Burton born youngster has just been given  a 3 year contract with Derby County, following exceptional work this season. Jamie was given a chance by Paul Clement and he took it with both hands and now finds himself very much at the heart of the Rams midfield.

The England U20 International has shown good ball distribution and has been filling gaps left by Will Hughes, Craig Bryson whilst they are out injured.

Paul Clement sees a good future at the club for Hanson but will now have to battle with Derby's big name signings of Bradley Johnson and Jacob Butterfield for a place in the starting line-up.

At present Hanson will remain with Derby County until the Summer of 2018.
