After a sterling season both Jamie Ward and John Eustace have been given a years extension to their present contract.
Steve McClaren is pleased that the pair will be around again next season as Derby County aim to improve on this seasons third place and claim automatic promotion.
Ward now 28 is hoping to have an injury free season in 2014-15 and give more telling runs down the wings and midfield area.
Eustace now 34, must have been retained for his experience and would not be expected to play every game during the season. His main role is seen as cover for the younger midfield players, but should players move on during the summer there may well be a huge part John can play for the Rams...
