Ferrie Bodde
Rams look now to have missed the Ferrie
Derby County have finally had enough of the on-off deal to bring Ferrie Bodde to Pride Park. As the deal looked to be coming to a conclusion yesterday after the Rams offered an improved deal near the £2m asking price, Swansea Chairman Huw Jenkins pulled the rug out from under the deal by insisting on £2.5m for the Dutchman.

Adam Pearson has stated that the club will not be held to ransom like this and have offered a fair deal for Bodde, who desperately wants to play for Derby County. The club now appear to have withdrawn their offer to Swansea , Pearson stating that we are now in pre-season training and don't want this sort of distraction for the players or the club.

What will Huw do now, as Rams pull out after price rise for Bodde?
It now remains to see what Mr Jenkins will do in response to the latest move by Derby County...
