The Rams have missed out on a second chance of loaning the Everton striker
James Vaughan is guaranteed a hot reception when Leicester take on the Rams later this month
Derby County and Nigel Cough are not happy after the promised return of James Vaughan has now not happened as the Everton striker moves on loan to East Midlands rivals Leicester City.
The Rams were under the assumption that Vaughan would return to Pride Park for a second loan spell this season following his recovery from injury sustained whilst on loan with the Rams.
The move to Leicester could also be a permenant one as the Foxes go for promotion to the Premiership. This is also seen as a reason for the U-turn by Vaughan and Everton, as the Foxes are serious about buying Vaughan, where Derby were looking for a season long loan of the striker.
