Rams midfielder loaned to Brighton

Lee Hendry off the Brighton and Hove Albion for the rest of the current season

Derby County have said farwell to Lee Hendry until the end of the season, as the former England International goes out on loan to Brighton and Hove Albion.

Hendry (32) is currently getting over a hamstring injury and sees the loan move as a good way to gain fitness over the last nine games of the season at Brighton.

Lee made ten appearances for the Rams first team this season before injury forced him onto the sidelines.

The loan move of Hendry may also be a way of reducing wage bills and allow the Rams to bring in former Rams star Tommy Smith. The Rams were reported to have applied to loan Smith, again for the rest of the current season...
