Once again the Rams take on one of Scotlands Giants, in the footballing sense, in the form of Glasgow Rangers.
Derby have of course hosted Rangers before, in May 2006. This was a benefit match for former Rams and Rangers winger Ted McMinn. The Tin man was extremely popular with Derby and Rangers fans alike. This was shown in a sell out 33,500 who attended the match, some 10,000 of those travelling the 229 miles from Glasgow.
We are sure a good turn out will again see the Rams on the road to their 2014-15 Championship season. The game is due to take place on Saturday August 2nd, with a 1.00pm kick-off, ticket arrangements will follow later...
