Rams looking for new manager?

C:WindowsTempphp4079.tmpWith just nine games completed in this seasons Championship campaign, are Derby County really looking for yet another manager?

Stories in this weekends newspapers may suggest that former Hull City manager, Steve Bruce is being looked at. Bruce was the manager of the Tigers when they demolished the Rams at the Ipro in last season's Play-off semi final.

With Derby County apparently in free fall and now in the relegation zone of the Championship there may be a case for new leadership if results don't improve.

C:WindowsTempphp384F.tmpThe dramatic drop of form since the appointment of Nigel Pearson may suggest all is not well within Derby County footbal club, but pin-pointing the problem is the key.

With Derby County set up as a Premiership side, with state of the art training facilities, stadium and backroom staff, it is an enigma why the success on the field hasn't followed. Surely more upset and new manager is not the answer just yet.

No reaction from within Derby County to speculation about change has been recieved but are they prepared to give Pearson the chance to prove he is the manager the Rams need in charge?

Pressure is mounting on Pearson and tomorrow could prove to be a pointer to his future with the Rams as they travel to Cardiff to play Cardiff City in what is now a relegation six pointer.
