The latest player linked with a move to Derby County is Venezuelan International Ronald Vargas. The 26 year old attacking midfielder is a surprise on the Rams radar given that he will cost in the region of £2m.
Vargas currently plays for FC Brugge but only has a year left on his contract and it is thought Brugge will try to cash-in on the player, who cost them £1.3m. Initial news from Brugge states that they would be looking in the region of £2.6. There is no shortage of clubs interested in Vargas, with Premiership Blackburn Rovers and fellow Championship club Swansea.
Vargas has been with Brugge since 2008 and has a very good goal to games ration, scoring 22 goals from 71 games. Internationally Vargas carries on with a good scoring record from Midfield. He has scored on three occasions for Venezuela from 14 starts.
