Rams loan out three and bring in one

Well wasn't it a great final day of the current transfer market? Heavy snow over most of the country kept people at home but business was still in full flow for the Footballers wanting a move or others surplus to requirements.

The Rams brought in Chris Porter, a 25 year old striker from Motherwell but this was the only deal bringing a new face into the club.

Derby are looking to cancel the contract of 33 year-old Mo Camara, after being given a chance by new Rams boss Nigel Clough. Mo only managed 3 appearances after falling out of favour during Paul Jewell's reign at the club. He was brought to the club on a free transfer from Celtic in August 2006.

Loan deals have been signed with Rams goalkeeper Lewis Price joining Luton Town on a months loan, the Hatters are understandably delighted to have landed the 24 year-old Welsh International.

Claude Davis is also on the move and again in an initial months loan to fellow Championship side Crystal Palace. Davis, a £m signing just over 18 months ago has struggled with loss of form and injuries since joining the club and at 29 may find it hard to work his way back into the Rams side if he returns from the loan spell.

So as the snow settles and Robbie Keane decides which club he wants to move to in the next transfer window, the Rams soldier on with just one new face but a renewed vigour following Nigel Clough's first win as manager of Derby County...
