Rams legend in Hall of Fame

Derby legend Steve Bloomer is to be inducted into the National Football museums Hall of Fame.There will be nine inductees for this year. Each year the names are chosen by a panel of experts including Sir Alex Ferguson, Gordon Taylor, Jimmy Greaves, , Alan Shearer, Mark Lawrenson and Gary Lineker, These experts are ably assisted by a panel of football historians.

Steve Bloomer is in illustrious company as the other inductees this year include David Beckham, manager Bertie Mee, Emilyn Hughes and Teirry Henry.The ceremony for this year will be in London's Millennium Mayfair Hotel. We hope to bring you exclusive photographs of the event which takes place on September 18th.
Plans for a memorial at Pride Park for Steve Bloomer are well under way and should be completed early in the New Year (2009).
