Rams keen on International keeper

C:WindowsTempphp9C8F.tmpDerby County have revealed a shock move for Millwall Goalkeeper David Forde. The 35 year-old Republic of Ireland International keeper had been relegated from the Championship with Millwall last season and now looks to get a regular first team slot with the Rams to keep his chances of continuing his International career.

Neill Harris, Millwall Manager, has conceded that Forde will now need to look at higher league football to secure his Republic of Ireland spot and with Derby looking to tighten their defence after last season’s capitulation in the final games, the match seems to have been made.

Forde played 329 times for Millwall, joining in 2008 from Cardiff City and to date 23 appearances for his Country.

The move must cast doubt on the future of current Rams number one Lee Grant
