Derby County are looking to get a better atmosphere going inside and outside Pride Park on match days. To help in this task the club are looking to recruit match day drummers.
Ok, so drummers at matches has been tried before with modest effect but the club are now wanting to enlarge their army of drummers, situating a person at the rear of the South stand and renewing the drummer in the North West corner.
To add to the growing army a team of drummers will now patrol the approach to Pride Park stadium to create a new match day experience outside the stadium as well as in. This army of drummers will also be positioned on the pitch to welcome the players on to the pitch.
Those wanting to take up the drum sticks are asked to register for the positions with the club before the 8th June 2012.
