Rams hope for two new faces before Saturday

Martyn Waghorn loan move agreed but waiting on fitness of Darrius Vassell
Reports that Derby County could be bringing in two players before Saturday's cruch match with Nottingham Forest have emerged from Pride Park.

Clough hopes to bring in Notts County Midfielder Ben Davies, despite having a third offer for the 29 year-old rejected yesterday. Clough also stated that an agreement has been made with Leicester City to bring in on loan Martyn Waghorn. The exciting 20 year-old striker however will not sign for the Rams if Darrius Vassell isn't fit for Leicester.

Nigel Clough is hopeing to get both players to Moor Farm and a little light training before Saturday, to familiaris both players with the Rams squad

So yet again Derby County's long suffering fans will not know who will be in the Rams starting line-up for 'the' derbie against Nottingham Forest, a crunch game for Derby County and the future of Nigel Clough as manager...
