Derby County have renewed the contract of striker Steve Davies. The 23 year-old has battled back from a knee ligament injury sustained in pre-season training and the road back to recovery has been a long one.
Davies, who scored in the 1-1 draw against Portsmouth last weekend is said to have a good future with the Rams and could make himself into one of the best strikers in the league.
The new one year extension to his contract comes with an option to extend the contract for another year...
