Derby County have confirmed that yet another defensive player will not play again for the club this season.

Dean Leacock who has been out of the side since November has been suffering with a mysterious groin injury which will need to be rested further and it looks as though he will not take any further part in this seasons action.

This is a bitter blow to Nigel Cloughs improving side, as it is the defensive part of his squads game that is letting games get away from them. Saturday's 4-2 defeat being a prime example. A game which the Rams were as good as or better than Sheffield United in every department apart from the defense.

The Rams now look have two home games in succession and hope to take all six points to ease any thoughts of relegation...
