Billy Davies, big changes ahead
The off-on transfer spree talked about by the Rams may spark into action again before the August transfer deadline, according to Rams boss Billy Davies.

Following on from the embarrassing failure against league 2 side Mansfield at the weekend, Davies has promised that "There will be big changes" and followed with, "This team will be unrecognisable by the end of August". August sees the closing of the transfer window until it re-opens in January 2008.

This is a total turn around from a few days ago, when the Rams manager stated that he would not be hurried into buying players capable of keeping the Rams in the Premiership.

Dusan Svento
Latest rumours have ex-Rams loan player Leon Osman as a possible target following the injury to Dusan Svento, who was favourite to be signed by the Rams before rupturing a cruciate anterior ligament in one of Derby County's friendly pre-season games.
