C:WindowsTempphpED14.tmpAfter a 20 year playing career Kevin Phillips took up coaching and has been highly successful at that during his time with Leicester City.

Derby succesfully negoatiated the release of Philips to help them with the push for Premiership football next season.

Philips, now 42 years of age, retired from football after the 2013-14 season and after many great stints at various clubs, many of whom he helped to the Premiership with his goalscoring. After 660 games, Phillips scored an amazing 282 at an average of a goal every 2.3 games.

Paul Clement hopes that his skills will rub off on his current crop of strikers and Clements thinks his style and abilities as a goalscorer and striker coach will compliment the crop of trainers already at Moor Farm.
