Idiakez scores yet another wonderful free-kick
Derby County maintained their unbeaten run under new manager Billy Davies as they beat Premiership Bolton Wanderers.

Rams free-kick specialist Inigo Idiakez conjured up another of his specials in the 30th minute that left Bolton Keeper, Jussi Jaaskelainen grasping thin air.

The Rams continued to play well and added a deserved second goal with just four minutes left on the clock. The Bolton replacement keeper, Ali Al Habsi was only able to parry a shot from Rams find midfielder, come striker Giles Barnes. The teenager then slotted in the rebound to take his tally in the preseason friendlies to four.

One sad note for Bolton was an injury to Nicky Hunt that could see the player out for quite a while and he will definitely miss the opening game of the Premiership season in three weeks time.

So it is all systems go for next Sunday's opening game against George Burley's Southampton and hopefully one of the best season's Derby County have had in many years.
