Since the last ball was kicked on the old Ipro Stadium pitch, Derby County have been very busy re-laying a new synthetic inlayed pitch, which will be harder wearing and better than in previous years, even though the Rams pitch was voted number one in the whole of the Championship last season.
Below is an interview with Head Grounds man, Nathan Scarff on all the work that has been carried out and that left to do before August 6th.
The stunning new look will be ready for the opening game and ready for the rigours of yet another long Championship football season.
