Fans wishing to avoid queueing outside the Pride Park Stadium ticket office can now benefit from buying tickets in shopDCFC*.

The club’s Pride Park store is now selling home match tickets, in all categories, across the counter.

The initiative comes hot on the heels of the announcement that the Rams are close to launching an on-line ticket site that will allow the Derby County faithful to order from the comfort of their own home.

Supporters who have registered their details at www.shopdcfc.co.uk are already involved in the fine-tuning of the site.

Club Operations Director Paul Clouting says: “We’re constantly striving to make it more accessible for our supporters to buy tickets and merchandise.

“Now, instead of standing a long queue on a wet and windy day, fans are able to go into shopDCFC for kit, merchandise and now tickets also.

“Very soon we’ll be making buying tickets even easier via www.shopdcfc.co.uk and supporters can register now.”
