Tyrone Mears
Tyrone Mears will never play for Derby again whilst Paul Jewell is in charge
going AWOL on Thursday and taking part in an unauthorised trial with French Club Marseille.

Paul Jewell has stated he will never play for Derby County again whilst he is manager. Jewell went on to say he had left a message on Mears phone telling him of the decision.

Mears will now be left in limbo as the club have no intention of releasing him and they hold his FA registration, which effectively means he can't move or play for another side unless the Rams give him permission.

Under pressure manager Jewell has siad Mears actions are "an affront to our club and its fans"...
