After a sterling start to his career as Derby County manager Steve McClaren has been short listed for the prestigious Sky Bet Manager of the month award.
McClaren took up the reigns at Pride Park at the beginging of October and impressive results have given him a chance of scooping the Award.
Wins over Leeds and Watford and a home draw against Birmingham City have give Rams fans hope of the club getting into the top six despite a narrow defeat to QPR last week.
McClren faces tough opposition for the award however, with Leicester's Nigel Pearson, Burnley's Sean Dyche and former Rams star Chris Powell, now managing Charlton Athletic.
The final decision on Manager of the Month will be decided tomorrow (Friday 8th November)...
