Rumours at this time in the season come thick and strong, so no surprise that Derby County were mentioned in relation to Liverpool midfielder Louis Alberto.
The 23 year-old attacking midfielder has had little playing time at Liverpool since signing in 2013 for £6.8m. Playing only 9 times for the Reds.
He has spent most of the three years he has been with Liverpool out on loan in his native Spain. Firstly with Malaga and last season with Deportivo La Coruna.
Alberto has played for Spain at U18,U19 and U21 level.
Several Championship clubs other than the Rams are also said to be alerted to the chance of taking Alberto into their squad. Midlands rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers have recently been taken over and are said to be wanting to spend to improve the side. Aston Villa are also said to be interested.
