The on-going saga of George Thorne has been stirred by a statement from West Bromwich Albion. They have informed the Rams that George Thorne is not for sale.
The statement is a blow for Derby as they have indicated they are looking to take Thorne to the Ipro Stadium for the start of next season.
Thorne himself has said he sees his future away from the Hawthornes but Albion are firm in their assertion that he is 'going no where'. Tthe Baggies position is strengthened by the fact Thorne signed a new three year deal with them before going out on loan with Derby County.
Rumours of Thorne only signing the new three year deal under pressure have been played down by WBA.
It is expected the Rams will go back in with an offer for Thorne and the saga will no doubt continue over the summer...
