Jewell has said he will see each individual personally and spell out what he wants for the club and the people within it. Some players will obviously be looking for employment elsewhere after Sunday's final game of the season but some have a future at the club.
Who will be staying or going is a closely guarded secret for now but with nine players out on loan it will not be hard to work out who has a favourable chance of staying with Derby County.
A defence, or players capable of working together in a defensive unit must be Jewell's first priority and he is already looking at several players, some out of contract but others that again will remain secret until the season is over and the transfer scramble can start.
Exciting times ahead? Rams fans very much hope so. Reading speculation and rumour will be the everyday task of every Rams fan and we hope you will stay with us here on Derby County Mad for the summer break...
