Paul Jewell, will he still have a job for Christmas?
Various rumours have been circulating about Monday's high profile televised game at Charlton Athletic.
With Charlton in the relegation zone and the Rams heading toward it at an alarming rate, questions have been asked about the mangership of Paul Jewell.

Paul Jewell has been in the Rams hot seat for just over a year and in that time has managed only six league wins out of 46 games. The directorship at Pride Park have been patient as Jewell began the work of totally rebuilding the Derby County side but has he really made any headway?

Rumours of rifts in the dressing room and the sale of quality players such as David Jones, now enjoying life at the top of the Championship table with Wolves and the inexplicable loaning of goalscorer Liam Dickinson to Championship rivals Blackpool, where he has scored no less than four times in just three games, has questioned Jewell's ability to create a sucessful side.

The signing of Robbie Savage is seen by most as a poor signing and a drain on financial resources and now rows in the dressing room has seen Roy Carroll told to stay away from the club for two weeks. Is this the sign of a manager who will bring success back to Pride Park, or is it a sign of a manager who has lost the support and respect of the players?

Monday night is seen as a must win game by most supporters and don't be surprised if Tuesday morning the Rams are looking for yet another manager.
