Derby County's Academy can be proud of the fact that the Rams have the biggest contingent of any team in the Irish U17 squad.

The Rams Academy has furnished the Irish with four of the squad that will be heading out to Bulgaria for a friendly International in Sofia just prior to the UEFA U17 Championships.

Mark O'Brien, Jeff Hendrick, Paul Lawless and Ryan Connolly will make the trip and represent the Rams.

The big contingent of Rams players is a testiment to the fine work going on at Moor Farm and with luck many of the youngsters mayl be ready to make the jump to first team action for the Rams within the next few years.

We wish them all luck for the coming International and for their progression within the Rams ranks on their return...
